Moohasaba (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) helps you track your daily worship with peace and intention. We take the trust you place in us seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your information.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you choose, your display name. These are used to authenticate you and sync your data across devices.
- Worship records you create:prayer completions, fasting logs, charity and zakat entries, Qur'an reading and memorization progress, journal entries, goals, and qada (make-up) records.
- Preferences: prayer calculation settings, your approximate location (used only to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction), reminder settings, and theme choices.
- Notification data: if you enable reminders, we store a push subscription token for your device so we can deliver prayer and worship notifications.
How we use your information
- To provide the core features of the app and sync your data across your devices.
- To calculate accurate prayer times, Qibla direction, and high-latitude adjustments.
- To send the reminders and notifications you opt into.
- To send a weekly reflection digest by email, if you enable it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your worship records for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database and authentication) and is protected by row-level security so that only you can access your records. Payments, if you subscribe to Pro, are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card details.
Your rights and choices
- Export:you can download all of your data as a JSON file at any time from Privacy & data in the app.
- Deletion:you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Privacy & data in the app. This action is immediate and irreversible.
- Notifications: you can turn reminders on or off at any time in the Reminders screen.
Children
Moohasaba is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
